Rachelle S. Ferraro is passionate about defending people’s Constitutional rights from governmental infringement. She prides herself in attentively listening to her clients, taking the time to give an honest assessment, and “thinking outside of the box” when it comes to preparing each individual case. Her dedication to her clients reflects the same vigor she would expect of someone representing one of her family members or herself.
Born and raised in New Jersey, she is the daughter of an Italian immigrant. She later moved to Arizona where she graduated from High School, and then returned to the East Coast to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Constitutional Law from Wellesley College. Ms. Ferraro came back to Arizona to obtain her Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Arizona College of Law before settling down in Phoenix.
Sworn into the practice of law in Arizona in 1998, Ms. Ferraro has always worked in the private sector practicing criminal defense and has handled some indigent defense work as well. In 2008, she started her own firm, focusing exclusively on criminal defense. Owning a small firm enabled her to provide individualized attention and quality representation to her clients at an affordable price.
In 2006, Ms. Ferraro was certified as a Criminal Law Specialist by the Arizona State Bar Board of Specialization. She maintains that certification today and accordingly stands out at the top of her field of practice. Ms. Ferraro has tried in excess of ninety (90) jury trials in local, justice, state and federal courts. She has obtained Not Guilty verdicts and dismissals in manslaughter, rape, kidnapping, attempted robbery, drug sales, drug possession, aggravated assaults, DUIs and many other areas.
Whenever possible, Ms. Ferraro seeks to prevent charges from being filed and has successfully done so in aggravated assault, money laundering, sexual assault, child molestation, drug cases and several other situations as well.
